Isabel M. Millard

Isabel M. Millard, Attorney-at-Law, holds both an MBA from Keller Graduate School and a law degree from Chicago Kent College of Law. Early in her career, Isabel became interested in alternative methods to litigation for handling family disputes. As a result, she became certified as a Mediator and began working to help families sit down face-to-face to reach a settlement they could live with, rather than having the courts make those decisions for them. Throughout her legal career, Isabel has maintained an interest in helping her clients help themselves understand the issues of their case and the legal ramifications of their decisions. Through her experiences mediating cases, Isabel has refined her communications and negotiations skills. She uses these skills to help her clients break down the antagonism and angry emotions that often accompany family law disputes to shift the focus back on the issues involved in their case.
